Putting scholarship money into 
the right hands!

Last year, the MGR Scholarship Organization awarded more than $4,000 in cash and in-kind scholarships to young women in our community. This year, we hope to double that amount. Pursuing a higher education now comes at a much higher price. Through the Miss Greater Rochester Scholarship Organization, we are providing young women the opportunity to achieve their educational aspirations by issuing scholarship awards. As a volunteer-run organization, all of the money donated to the MGR Scholarship Organization goes directly into the hands of the young women competing.

Our organization’s mission is to search out community-minded businesses to make monetary and in-kind contributions to support and reward the efforts of these young women.

Contribute Scholarship Dollars

 

The Miss Greater Scholarship Organization welcomes scholarship donations of any amount. We have also set up some extra-added bonuses for those that contribute at the Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze crown levels.


Platinum Crown Sponsor $750

  • Full page advertisement on back cover or inside front cover of the Miss Greater Rochester program book. Ad will also appear in the slide show prior to the start of the pageant.

  • Speak/present your product or service to the contestants at the workshop prior to the pageant.

  • Large Logo and name recognition on all electronic and print materials, on all press releases and on the Miss Greater Rochester Website.

  • 10 tickets to the pageant and Platinum Crown seating.

  • Display or informational booth at the pageant.  

Gold Crown Sponsor $500

  • Full page advertisement in the Miss Greater Rochester program book. Ad will also appear in the slide show prior to the start of the pageant.

  • Speak/present your product or service to the contestants at the workshop prior to the pageant.

  • Logo and name recognition on all electronic and print materials, on all press releases and on the Miss Greater Rochester Website.

  • 6 tickets to the pageant and Gold Crown seating.

  • Display or informational booth at the pageant.

 
Silver Crown Sponsor $350

  • Half page advertisement in the Miss Greater Rochester program book. Ad will also appear in the slide show prior to the start of the pageant.

  • Small logo and name recognition on all electronic and print materials, on all press releases and on the Miss Greater Rochester Website.

  • 4 tickets to the pageant and Silver Crown seating.  

 Bronze Crown Sponsor $250

  • Quarter page advertisement in the Miss Greater Rochester program book.

  • Name recognition on all television ads, on all press releases and on the Miss Greater Rochester Website.

  • 2 tickets to the pageant and Bronze Crown seating.

 

 

Name a scholarship after your business!

 As a sponsor of a specific award, you will receive program book recognition and announcement recognition at the pageant. 

 

Awards available (these are available on a first come first service basis):

Community Service Award – Each contestant must select a platform in which to advocate throughout their year as Miss Greater Rochester – Miss New York State and Miss America. The Community Service Award is based on the contestant’s community service contribution.   Scholarship Awarded: $150.00  

 

Non-Finalist Interview Award – given to the non-finalist contestant that scores the highest in interview.   Scholarship Awarded: $100.00

 

Non-Finalist Talent Award – given to the non-finalist contestant that scores the highest in the talent competition.   Scholarship Award: $75.00
